If you have any questions about this policy, feel free to reach out. I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Notice Requirement
24‑hour notice is required for any appointment change or cancellation.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time will be billed at the full session rate.
Reminder System
If you opt in, you will receive a friendly reminder 24 hours (via email or text, per your preference) confirming the upcoming appointment.
If you need to reschedule, simply contact Chantal directly by phone or email.
How to Cancel or Reschedule
Phone: 825-993-ROSE and please leave a message (no texting available)
Email: Chantal_Psych@proton.me
Please let me know as soon as possible so I can offer the slot to another client who may need it.
Documentation & Transparency
The cancellation policy is outlined in the Intake Paperwork you receive before your first session and is discussed during the intake interview.
This ensures clear, mutual expectations and aligns with the College of Alberta Psychologists’ Code of Ethics—specifically the standards of responsibility, fairness, and respect for client autonomy.
Exceptions- Rare Circumstances
If an unexpected emergency or serious illness prevents you from providing the 24‑hour notice, please contact me as soon as you can. I will evaluate the situation on a case‑by‑case basis and may waive the fee at our discretion.
Commitment to You
My goal is to maintain a reliable, respectful therapeutic environment where both your time and the time of other clients are valued. Thank you for partnering with me in keeping our schedule running smoothly!
